12/18/2017 I used many of the areas on the MFT site, including practice questions, developmental, games, etc. I was aware it was a site for the Nationals (It says Not for California), but thought it was a good tool, because the theories and DSM info would work for California as well. I had a couple of my colleagues, who have taken the tests and licensed, check out the site and they agreed that it could be helpful, especially for the cost. I used other materials, of course; however, your site was comparable in content and quality. Once again, thank you

11/23/2016 Dr. Hutchinson-- I did in fact pass the written MFT exam . . in California . . on Monday. Your online sample practice test really helped ease my anxiety about it. Your questions were more like the actual questions on the exam than the materials I had been using to study, which were ridiculously difficult-- so much so that I continually failed the practice exams for weeks and became VERY discouraged and anxious! Although this may be sort of atypical use of your materials and although I did use other, much harder to grasp materials, I did get much needed support from your website. It helped to alleviate a tremendous amount of anxiety that could have potentially been a huge problem on test day.

7/19/2016 I have been an MFT in New York for 19 years before moving back to Indiana to join the MFT faculty at Purdue. In NY, I got grandparented into licensure when our law passed so I did not have to take the exam. When I moved to Indiana this past July, I had to take the exam to get my license.

9/20/2017 Hello Linton, Last week I received word from my state board that I passed the MFT exam! Your site helped me greatly! Especially the practice questions. This is a very challenging exam, all applied information. I am a straight A student, but really was challenged by this test. It was a big help to me to have your site and your daily emails to keep me studying. I also found your test taking tips to be indispensable. All during the test I just knew it was "in there". 8/2/2016 The suggestions for the actual test-taking protocol really settled in with me - the idea of the timing of breaks, the use of all of the time scheduled, finishing every question in the first go around and then reviewing - and I applied all of them. Areas such as HIPPA were current and up to date and explanations of answers where I had made mistakes were helpful. The use of question format was similar to that on the test and made that more comfortable.

8/2/2017 Dear Dr. Hutchinson- Thank you so much for the MFT exam prep course. I just found out that I passed the exam in NV. This is the first time that I took the exam and, happy to report, will be the last! I scored an 86%. The highest score in NV was an 88%. I found your site extremely helpful and recommend it to all of my friends who are still in the Master's program!
