Andy Beverly
RESIDENT ARTIST
“We should treat all the trivial things of life seriously, and all the serious things of life with sincere and studied triviality.” ― Oscar Wilde
Andy Beverly is living in France as a graphic artist and cartoonist for the last 20 years. He went to Winter Park high school, then graduated from the Columbus College of Art and Design. He worked in various communication agencies in America, England, Norway, and France. These experiences have allowed him to be comfortable with both working in a company and as freelance. His professional experience has allowed him to master the different facets of graphic design: publishing, packaging, and the various steps of the graphic design chain of production. Personally, he loves springtime: getting a new garden put in and watching it grow, playing board games with his family, and cooking good local food. He has an adopted cat, dog, and 4 chickens. He has a cartoon blog about "stressed" family life

“Where love rules, there is no will to power.” (Carl Jung)
Henry received his PhD in 1970 from UCLA by publishing his proof of Sherlock Holmes’ theory of memory: Forgetting the unnecessary stuff makes it easier to remember what’s in there, but it’s the practice of using what’s in there that makes a difference. He had a brief career as an academic at Princeton University, and then moved to the East Coast beach town of Virginia Beach, where he became Supervisor of the Virginia Beach 24 Hr. Emergency Social Services response team. He went on to serve a decade in private practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Louise Weaver
THE GRAMMAR GODMOTHER
“Curiouser and curiouser!” cried Alice. (She was so much surprised, that for the
moment she quite forgot how to speak good English). Alice in Wonderland
Louise has always been nitpicky about proper grammar and spelling. Her eagle eye
spots things that may have escaped the writer. She believes that writers can always
benefit from another pair of eyes to ensure that grammar, spelling, word flow, and
punctuation are correct. Louise’s daughter used this website to prepare for her LMHC
exam – she passed with flying colors!
When she’s not climbing a treehouse with her two young grandsons, Louise can be
found curled up with an English murder mystery or (slowly) working her way through
her latest quilting project. Louise and her husband, Bill, have been the proud owners
of 15 cats over the many years of their married life. Jester and Cricket (a 25 lb.
Norwegian Forest cat!) are their current feline companions.

Lucy Boyd, RN, BSN
THE NURSE
"It is what it is."
As her nursing school’s candidate for “Most Likely to Succeed,” Lucy’s still wondering how that’s defined. “I feel most successful in the small moments,” she admits, “when a patient finally feels unconditional acceptance.” When her day-job hats get heavy (psychiatric epidemiologist, medical writer and investigator), she turns to her other loves: genealogy, cooking and solving mysteries. Lucy enjoys creating quiz questions for us, hoping the customers come away not just passing their exam, but going on to better understand their craft and their clients for a lifetime.
